Have you had time to reflect on the past year?
It's never too late to reflect.
At the end of the day the time you invest in/with yourself is never wasted.
The more self-aware you become, the more you can analyze and learn what serves you and what doesn't.
And you can only become the best version of yourself, which in fact helps everybody around you, if you figure out what YOU need to grow. 👈
Here are some good questions that would help you with that process:
What were the 3 greatest/happiest moments from last year?
What 3 accomplishments are you most proud of?
What were the 3 lessons that you've learnt last year?
Three personal improvements I have made in the past year are?
If I could go back and do it again, what 3 things would you do differently?
The three greatest influences on me in the last year. (Products, people, viewpoints, other)?
What were 3 smartest decisions that I've made last year?
What were 3 biggest risks that I've taken last year?
Who were the most 3 important people in my last year and why?
What's one word that sums up and describes last year's experience?
Three things I need to do less of in the next year are?
Three things I need to do more of in the next year are?
Three things I need to stop doing altogether in the next year are?
Don't get overwhelmed. Keep it simple! Reflection allows us to identify things we are proud of and areas where we want to shift mindset and behaviors. One small change and completely change the trajectory of your entire year!
And remember:
There are an infinite number of paths that are now closed to you from your past but there are an infinite number of paths open to you for your future!
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." - Albert Einstein
